		<description>Regarding the 1983 Himalaya accident. . .

I was working at the park then as an arcade mechanic.  The Himalaya at the park then was not owned by the park, but by an independant ride operator, and was set up next to the arcade where Fascination was before it burned down.

The accident was that some of the walls that created the tunnel at the back of the ride fell down.  It did not affect the actual ride itself, and they did run it for a while without the walls until they were repaired.
